Ottavopino is on the third floor of a modern building in the heart of Lecce, a city famous for its baroque architecture situated in the Salento peninsula in southern Italy. Conveniently located near one of the main streets of the city, it is a short walk from the central Piazza Mazzini and about ten minutes from Piazza Sant’Oronzo in the beautiful old town.
The name comes from the combination of the names of Mamma Ottavia and Papa Pino, who entrusted the design of this beautiful house to an up-and-coming young architect in the 1970s.
The key features of our house are the layout of the rooms and the furnishings, which reflect the golden age of Italian design. Built in the 1970s, the apartment is well conserved but with a lived-in feel.
Our house provides the warmth and comfort of a refined and well-appointed home; the living room has a marvellous and comfortable corner reserved for reading or watching television.
It is the ideal place to stay in Lecce, for tourism or work, because everything you need is close by.
During your stay, you will appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, the comfort and the attention to detail, which all help to make our Bed and Breakfast truly special, a place that provides the warmth of a house with the comfort of a high-class hotel.
